Access-Lock Tech II
Job Description
We are currently seeking an Access Control Technician to perform various types of installation, maintenance, and repair work on diverse electronic and mechanical access control and lock systems
Responsibilities:
- Installation of access control panels and related peripherals
- Installation of NVR’s and IP cameras
- Installation of all system infrastructure to include conduit, wiring, enclosures and camera posts
- Installation of VON DUPRIN EL-99/98 and Electric Strikes
- Installation and termination of low voltage cabling to include Cat5e/Cat6
- Programming and networking configurations of IP based equipment
- Able to interact with customers and represent the company in a professional manner.
Access Control Expertise:
- Install, service and maintain all components of an integrated security system, including electronic security panels, lock power supplies, card readers, biometric equipment, mag locks, electric strikes, exit bars, door hold backs, intercoms/remote release devices, motion sensors and door contacts.
- Perform inspections / repairs / re-certifications on existing systems.
- Install, service, maintain and troubleshoot security system integrations with alarm systems, elevator controls, automatic door controls, etc.
- Run/terminate/land Cat5/Cat6, Ethernet, low voltage, coax and other cable.
- Install, service and maintain automatic door openers experience.
Lock Knowledge

cable and wire Technician
TriOrb Solutions seeking individual as a Cable and Wire technician. The primary focus of the position shall work on Electronic Security systems. This position focuses on:
- Physically install category 5e, 6, 6A and terminating jacks, patch panels. • Physically able to terminate and splice fiber optic cables.
- Physically install J-hook, sleeves and firestop.
- Physically install cable tray, communication racks and plywood backboards. Physically able to splice high pair copper cables.
- Accurately test and document copper and fiber optic cables using a DTX 1800 Fluke tester, including OTDR testing.
- Able to diagnose and correct copper and fiber optic cabling problems.
- Contribute as a member of the project team, working to migrate problems and working to be an equal team contributor at all times.
Cable Technician Duties:
- Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment
- Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
- Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards
- Experience running or bending conduit, with digital multi-meters, and testing cable Troubleshooting networking issues
- Rack and stack work, closet work putting together server racks, patch panels
- Fiber experience including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing
- Ability to read and understand schematic and line diagrams
- Your own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE (safety gear), etc.
Experience:
- Cabling: 1 year (Preferred)
- J-hooks: 1 year (Preferred)

Laptop Technician
Job Description
TriOrb Solutions is seeking individual as a Laptop Technician. As part of the IT team, we have an opening for a PC or Desktop Technician with background and success in Laptop diagnostics, repairs, rebuilds, refurbishment, and field service. The primary focus of the position is diagnosing, repairing, rebuilding, and refurbishing Laptops that are end of life or retired assets from our clients. The candidate will also do field work at the client’s location based on projects for our clients as needed. Additional duties may be assigned and flexibility is a key attribute for success at TriOrb Solutions. You will work for the Operations Manager and be a key part of the team growing the company.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, rebuild, and refurbish PCs, Laptops, Monitors, Servers and other IT equipment. 90% of the job is PCs, Laptops and Tablets
- Must be able to disassemble and reassemble computers using hand tools
- Must be able to work and assemble with parts that are sensitive to damage
- Successfully complete assignments when assigned to projects. From time to time, you will be assigned to projects that occur at the client’s location
- Image and prepare new computers
- Cross train on other operational needs. Everyone is expected to work as a team and assist each other
- Must be able to work efficiently and timely to ensure the highest quality of customer satisfaction
Desired Qualifications:The ideal candidate will have
- One or more years in similar role with emphasis on PC repair and refurbishment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is critical
- Strong customer skills with an ability to work with accuracy and minimal direction
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment weighing up to 40 pounds such as laptops, PCs, and printers
- Ability to stand for extended periods while working at a workbench or desk
- Ability to walk, bend, and crawl while working on IT equipment being installed, uninstalled, or moved
- Must be willing to work at customer sites located throughout in the area

Support Technician
TriOrb Solutions is seeking an individual as a Level 2 Support Technician. Primarily candidate will help:
Job Description
Provide technical support to clients for Windows and Mac computers over the phone and via remote connection.
Experience with servers, networks, VOiP and related technologies a plus.
Perform repairs to client computers in our shop (Bench work).
Provide exceptional customer service through good troubleshooting skills, communication skills and follow up skills with every customer.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 2 years work experience in a customer-oriented environment. Demonstrated customer service skills required, including the demonstrated ability to handle challenging customers. Excellent communication and organizational skills required. Must be able to multitask numerous issues simultaneously. Technical aptitude/knowledge and exceptional troubleshooting skills are highly valued.

- Working on Associates or Bachelor’s Degree, IT related field preferred, or equivalent experience
- Well-rounded Microsoft desktop technology experience and user support. Experience supporting the following: Expert Windows XP/7/8. Exposure to Windows server technology, Active Directory and common network protocols.
- Valid driver license and insurance with reliable transportation. This position will require infrequent local travel.
- Drug-free and non-smoker. Smoking is prohibited at all client sites and main office.
